The life from which God's love and compassion has departed can only perish. We must pray that by receiving new vigor from God each day we can live with a heart of new beginning (Ps 90:14). We must also pray that the work God wants to accomplish through our lives will be fulfilled through us in hope. No matter how we have lived out our past days, we have now come upon the step to finish out this year. From now on, we must live welcoming each day, considering it as if it were our last.
