The center of world history is the history of redemption, and at the center of the history of redemption is Jesus Christ. That is why world history is divided into BC (before Jesus came; “Before Christ”) and AD (after Jesus came; “Anno Domini - the year of our Lord”). Through the movement of the church that God purchased with blood, the movement of redemption is being fulfilled. Thus the church is the center, the nucleus, and the substance of history. A world without the church has no meaning of existence, content, purpose or value. God is with the church.
