[Read] Logos Meditation

The olive tree is always green. It shines as it gives off light. The consecrated man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked is the olive tree. The man who puts his roots down not in the world but in the word of God and receives strength is the olive tree. The man who will not die but lives; the man who does good works is the olive tree (Jer 11:16, Hos 14:6). The olive tree symbolizes the overcoming saint who does not die but lives until the very end. When everything is like a drought and you feel you can no longer live, let us be the olive tree that is planted by the stream.
